Barnwood Wall Panels

Why Barnwood Wall Panels Are So Popular

Bring decades of natural character into any space in your home - without the hassle of sourcing salvaged lumber yourself! Barnwood wall panels have this incredible weathered patina that can’t be recreated through any stain or distressing technique. Here’s why we love them:

  • Authentic character from real reclaimed wood: We craft every panel from real American barnwood that spent up to a decade exposed to the elements. Every grain line and color shift you see is the result of Mother Nature and Father Time doing their thing.
  • Safe for any interior space: Each board has been denailed, heat-treated, and kiln-dried before milling so you never have to stress about pests, warping, or splitting down the road. Extremely low VOCs.
  • Sustainably sourced: Choosing reclaimed wall panels from authentic barnwood means you’re saving usable material from getting tossed into a landfill, while lowering the need for freshly harvested timber. We adhere to FSC-certified sourcing standards.
  • Precision milled for seamless installation: Every plank gets milled to the same 5-inch width to sit flush on your wall.

Frequently asked questions

What are these barnwood wall panels made from?

100% authentic reclaimed barnwood sourced right here in the USA. Every panel has been given a minimum of 7 years to weather in the elements. Then, we denail it, heat treat it, and kiln dry it. That means you get the beauty without the risk of VOCs or pests.

What lengths and widths are available?

Every panel is precision milled to a 5-inch width. Order in quantities of 20 square feet of wall.

How do I figure out how many panels I need to order?

Easy. Just measure the square footage of the wall you’re trying to cover. Because each order includes 20 square feet of material, you just have to divide your total wall surface by 20 to get the number of units to order. You should add about 5% for overage. Our customer service team can help you navigate this.

Where do barnwood panels work best?

Accent walls are the most popular place to install these. But they work just as well on ceilings and in bathrooms. We have lots of customers who use them for fireplaces as well. You can’t go wrong with them in any interior space where you want natural warmth and texture.

How do I install barnwood wall panels?

You’ll get a full installation guide with your order, and we have some great video walkthroughs here on our website as well if you want step-by-step instructions. Our customer service team is always available to help, too.

Are there any maintenance requirements for these panels?

Very little thanks to the kiln-drying and heat-treatment we put each panel through. Just wipe the surface clean with a dry cloth as needed to handle dust. That’s it.
