Frequently Asked Questions

Our trim is made of the same composite as our cladding: a blend of real wood fibers, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and performance additives. A co-extruded 360° cap surrounds the core, protecting against moisture, UV, impact, and wear with no risk of peeling.

Never. The color and UV protection are built into the cap layer during manufacturing. There's no painting, staining, or sealing required, ever.

Attach with polyurethane or MS polymer hybrid adhesive, or exterior-rated screws. No clips or special tools required. L-Trim is compatible with all composite cladding profiles.

The outside corner trim is installed before the cladding panels by screwing through the tongues. Fasten the trim to your corner joists and then proceed with installing the cladding. The screws will be concealed behind the cladding for a clean finished look.
