Fluted Wall Panels

Find the Perfect Fluted Wall Panels at WoodPlank

There’s nothing like the way the vertical shadow lines shift throughout the day after installing fluted wall panels in a space. You get an incredible architectural depth without major construction or millwork. We make it effortless here at WoodPlank with the best selection online.

Our collection brings you both composite and solid wood in one place so you can choose what fits your space better. The composite line is crafted with recycled resources and backed by a 30-year warranty against fading/staining.

The natural wood wall panels include kiln-dried oak in both sealed and unsealed finishes, or thermally modified wood options such as thermo-ash, thermo-dark-ash, or thermo-radiata. Every variety has a Class B fire rating so you can enjoy peace of mind.

Frequently asked questions

What are fluted wall panels?

These textured wall panels have evenly spaced vertical grooves milled in the face, which create this amazing ribbed texture that catches light at different angles. It adds dimension to walls that would otherwise look flat and boring.

What’s the difference between fluted and reeded panels?

There are concave grooves carved into fluted panels. Reeded panels have raised convex ridges. They’re essentially two complete opposites. While both create vertical texture, the shadow patterns look quite a bit different.

Are fluted panels out of style in 2026?

Not at all! We are processing tons of orders for both residential and commercial clients who are looking to bring the fluted look into their spaces.

How much do fluted wall panels cost?

Prices start at $219.99 here at WoodPlank for our composite narrow slat exterior cladding, which comes with 16.8 square feet of material. It depends on the style you buy. Get in touch with our team for a personalized quote with shipping.

What sizes can I buy fluted panels in?

Oak slat panels are available from 6 ft up to 12 ft. Composite come in 8 ft and 16 ft options. Coverage per box is between 15 and 21 square feet depending on the product.

What if I need custom sizing?

We don't offer custom widths, but in some cases, we can provide a specific range of lengths for Oak Slats and Thermo-wood. We prefer customers to cut on-site for the most accuracy and best finished look. All of the boards are super easy to cut to length. You can get in touch with our team to discuss the best approach for your project.

Is installing the panels DIY friendly?

The panels have a straightforward tongue-and-groove shiplap profile, and we have really helpful guides here on our website to walk you through the project step by step. Any local installer or handyman can install our projects.

What surfaces can I install fluted wall panels on?

They go right over furring strips or directly onto a solid substrate. You’ll need stainless steel fasteners for the thermally modified fluted wall panels, though. Again, you can find the full installation guides here on our website.

How do you deliver fluted wall panels?

They ship by the bundle right to your home or job site. We deliver across all 50 states and Canada.

How soon can I get panels delivered?

That all depends on what you’re ordering and where we’re sending it. Get a custom shipping quote from our experts based on current lead times.

Do these panels work well in bathrooms and kitchens?

The composite panels in particular are a good fit for these spaces because they’re weatherproof and resist mildew. The thermally modified ash repels moisture naturally as well. Go with the sealed finish if you decide on solid oak in a space that gets humid or wet.

Can I install these panels outdoors as well?

Absolutely. Our composite and thermally modified wall panels are all great options for exterior installation. Make sure you get the sealed finish for oak if it’s going outdoors.

How do I work around plugs, windows, etc.?

Our installation guides cover how to cut around outlets and window openings. You always have access to our customer service team for questions about your project. Don’t hesitate to reach out!
